HERE’S
THE IDEA.

Choose the tooth count for four gears. Gear 1 drives gear 2; gear 3 on the same axle drives gear 4. Output speed is teeth 1 × teeth 3 divided by teeth 2 × teeth 4. Match the target ratio and Check transmission. Solve three transmissions.
